While most can be discovered on corpses or in chests in the world, some require either the ranking processes in Covenants or quest-related occurrences to be maintained. The player is allowed to wear only four rings at any given moment and cannot wear two of the same ring at the same time. There are a total of 116 rings found throughout the entirety of Dark Souls 3, spanning from the base experience, then heading on into the New Game Plus territories and additive DLC expansions.
